This site is an effort to provide socially friendly, academic articles on several issues in the sphere of International Politics, International Relations, Economics and Business. IPEBP team aims to promote research in the aforementioned fields and engage young professionals. In the framework of this project, the IPEBP team welcomes any initiative from individuals or institutions to support our effort.

Who we are:

Vasilis Touvlatzis : Founder & Editor.

Vasilis holds a Bachelor Degree in History from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2014. Since October 2015, he is a post-graduate student in Politics and Economics of Contemporary Eastern and Southeastern Europe, in University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki. Currently his is working on his thesis : “Energy balancing in Southeastern Mediterranean Region“.  His main interests are International Relations in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Security & Energy Politics, Turkish Foreign Policy and Russian Foreign Policy.

Yogambigai Rajendra (alias Yogam): Founder & Editor

Yogam, hailing from Singapore, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. As of 2015, Yogam undergoes post-graduate studies in Politics and Economics of Contemporary Eastern and Southeastern Europe at the Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies department in the University of Macedonia located in Thessaloniki, Greece. Her main interests lie in microeconomic theory, EU integration and EU enlargement. Despite her background in economics, Yogam has grown an interest in European and International politics which has also been the basis of her current Master’s thesis entitled: “Does civil society strength facilitate EU accession for the Balkans? Lessons from Croatia and Slovenia”.

Anna Manukyan: Founder & Editor

Anna’s academic background includes a bachelor degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Armenian State University of Economics. Currently she is in the MA program in Politics and Economics of Contemporary Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Her master thesis on the Cooperation in the Black Sea Region includes both economic and political aspects of cooperation  between countries with diverse background, language, ethnic identities as well as with differences in economic structure and political orientation.
